Today at Unity Stadium in Chernihiv, a traditional friendly match in memory of Chernihiv referee and SDYSHOR 'Unity' coach Yuri Skvarko took place. The football field saw the meeting of teams from the Chernihiv Regional Football Association Arbiters Association and the Kyiv City Football Association.

Before the match, welcome words were addressed to the participants by Chernihiv Regional Football Association Deputy Head Sergiy Datsenko, Chernihiv Regional Football Association Deputy Head Anatoliy Svytun, Kyiv City Football Association Deputy Head Oleksandr Shamych, and Kyiv City Football Arbiters Committee Head Ivan Bondar. In their speeches, they thanked everyone present for preserving the memory of Yuri Skvarko and emphasized the importance of such meetings that unite the football community.

Despite the friendly status of the match, on the field there was a fierce and spectacular battle. The teams presented the spectators with a bright football game, many emotions, and nine goals in total. In the end, the team of Chernihiv arbiters won with a score of 5:4.

In the winning team, Pavlo Detsiuk scored a hat-trick, while Vladislav Tatarinov and Mykola Shpilka each scored one. In the Kyiv team's lineup, goals were scored by Georgiy Stekolshchikov, Stepan Basakin, Oleh Yasinsky, and Artem Reshetnikov.

After the final whistle, participants from both teams received commemorative plaques and gifts from the Chernihiv Regional Football Association in memory of this match.
