The 19th Report and Election Assembly of the Chernihiv Oblast Branch of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine took place.
In Nizhyn, the best representatives of the city's sports community were honored on the occasion of Ukraine's Day of Physical Culture and Sports.
Before the match, representatives of the Chernihiv Oblast Football Association joined the team — first deputy head Sergiy Dyachenko and deputy head Anatolii Swystun.
Representatives of the Ukrainian Football Association welcomed the Children and Youth Sports Football School in Nizhyn on its 25th anniversary since its establishment, and acknowledged its significant contribution to the development and popularization of football in Chernihiv Oblast. Honorary awards from the Head of the Chernihiv Regional Football Association Roman Sologurenko were presented to the Mayor of Nizhyn Oleksandr Kodol and the Director of the Children and Youth Sports Football School in Nizhyn Yuliya Pustovit.
Also, representatives of the Ukrainian Football Association presented new football balls to the Children and Youth Sports Football School in Nizhyn, which will be used by young football players during training sessions.
It is precisely due to the joint efforts, support, and dedication of people who daily contribute their efforts to sports development that football has the opportunity to develop and attract new generations. Nizhyn has long-standing football traditions, and today it is important to do everything possible to keep them alive, while young football players have the necessary conditions for training, development, and new sporting achievements.
The Chernihiv Regional Football Association will continue to be a partner of the football community in Nizhyn and support initiatives aimed at the development and popularization of football among children and youth.
