In Chernihiv, an official ceremony to honor participants of the 2026 Chernihiv Oblast Football Championship took place.
The event took place at the premises of National University "Chernigivska Polytechnica." During the ceremony, teams and the best representatives of the regional championship were recognized based on the season's results.
During the solemn ceremony, the prize-winning teams of the 2026 Championship of Chernihiv Oblast's football received their awards.
The gold medals and the golden salver as the champion for the first time since Independence were won by FC Priluki's footballers.
The silver medals for the second consecutive year were won by Druzhba-Kozaki (Nizhyn/St. Basan), which finished in the final table only two points behind the champion.
Bronze medals were won by Chernihiv's Dnipro — a team that amazed both its opponents and the football community with its progress this season. After scoring zero points last season, 'Severians' earned 30 credit points and surprisingly but deservedly secured bronze medals in the Championship of Chernihiv Oblast.
