At the CHOAFC Football House, a working meeting was held with the heads of football associations from Chernihiv Oblast.
In Kyiv, two youth leadership program seminars took place for over 100 volunteers from 22 regions of Ukraine, who are involved in the implementation of the "Open Football Festivals" project.
The project is implemented by the Ukrainian Football Association jointly with regional associations under the donor program "Recovery and Resilience of Youth Leadership in Ukraine".
Volunteers from Kozel'ske Raion, Chernihiv Oblast — Svitlana Rakh, Tetiana Pan'ko, Oleksiy Shudra, Mykola Rakh, Oleg Martynenko, and Laryon Zakrevskyi — participated in the training. Representatives of Chernihiv Oblast joined discussions and experience exchange in the field of developing mass football in communities.
During seminars, participants familiarized themselves with the concept and content filling of "Open Football Festivals", modern methods of working with children of different levels of preparedness, inclusive approach, and specifics of organizing football festivals.
Special blocks of training were dedicated to psychological support for children through football, minimal literacy, safety, and protection of children in football. The core theme was the youth leadership program — motivation to participate in mass football, effective communication, values, activity planning, and supporting mental health of volunteers.
Theoretical sessions were combined with practice on the field at the Training-Complex of the Ukrainian Football Association. Participants worked on technical elements, team interaction, and conducted their own training fragments.
At the end of the training, volunteers received certificates of mass football leaders, confirming their readiness to further implement the "Open Football Festivals" project in their communities.
