This year, four teams participated in the competitions: «Denza 45+», «Denza 50+», «Temp» (Borzna), and FC Siraï.

The tournament was organized by the Chernihiv Oblast Football Association together with the Department of Family, Youth, and Sports of the Chernihiv City Council.

The winners of the tournament were the «Denza 45+» team. The silver medals were awarded to «Temp» (Borzna), bronze medals went to the veterans of «Denza 50+», and fourth place was taken by FC Siraï.

At the award ceremony, the first deputy head of the Chernihiv Oblast Football Association Sergiy Datsenko, deputy head of the Chernihiv Oblast Football Association Anatoliy Svytun, head of the Association of Football Veterans of the Chernihiv Oblast Yuriy Grusnov, head of the Department of Family, Youth, and Sports of the Chernihiv City Council Oleksandr Stetsko, as well as Anatoliy Tatevosyan's son — Dmytro Klygunov — attended. They thanked the participants for their dedication to football, sports spirit, and preservation of memory about the distinguished coach.

In addition to team awards, the best players in each team were also recognized and received commemorative balls from the Chernihiv Oblast Football Association with signatures of all official participants of the tournament. They are:

• Volodymyr Voropay — «Temp» (Borzna);

• Serhiy Kozhushko — FC Siraï;

• Mykola Ovrychevs'kyi — «Denza 45+»;

• Volodymyr Stoian — «Denza 50+».

The special individual award from the family of Anatoliy Begoian for the best performance went to Oleksandr Selivanov («Denza 45+»).

The Anatoliy Begoian Memorial Tournament has become a good tradition for the football community of Chernihiv. It is not only a sports holiday for veterans but also an opportunity to honor a person who made a significant contribution to the development of football in our region and trained several generations of footballers.
