Starting from this season, the Chernihiv Oblast Football Association introduced an individual award, which will be presented monthly to the best player of the Chernihiv Oblast Championship.

The first recipient of the honorary distinction, as decided by the Committee for Conducting Competitions of the COAF, is footballer FC Priluki, a graduate of the Pryluky DЮСШ — Igor Nesterenko.

At the beginning of the championship, Igor played 5 matches for his team, scoring 11 goals and making 5 assists. The striker's average performance rate is 2.2 goals per match.
